About Us
Bringing the Beach to Everyone
BEACH ON WHEELS INC is a not-for-profit organization based in Florida, dedicated to making beaches accessible to all. Founded by three brothers — Kersh, Brendan, and Jacob Besharat — our mission was born out of a personal journey. Jacob lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism, which made enjoying the beach a challenge. After discovering beach wheelchairs, we were inspired to ensure that others with physical limitations could also enjoy the sand, surf, and sun. What began as a solution for one turned into a mission for many.
Beach on Wheels is a registered nonprofit initiative dedicated to making beaches accessible for everyone, regardless of mobility challenges. We raise funds to provide specially designed beach wheelchairs that allow people with disabilities to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf safely and comfortably.
While we are a registered nonprofit, we are not currently a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, so donations are not tax-deductible at this time. All funds go directly toward the purchase, maintenance, and placement of beach-accessible equipment in our community.

We believe everyone deserves access to Florida’s beautiful beaches — no exceptions. Through community support and fundraising, we provide beach-accessible wheelchairs to individuals who are non-ambulatory, at no cost.
